Raw pumpkin and cacao smoothie
It’s a good and healthy habit to start morning with smoothie. Even though I prefer green juice as a day starter, sometimes it’s nice to shake it a bit and treat myself with sweet and delicious smoothie. Today I will show you how to make a smoothie with raw pumpkin and cacao using my favorite blender from Vitamix
Start with preparation of your ingredients. Slice the lemon. Measure the hemp seeds. By the way, hemp seeds are fantastic! They are exceptionally nutritious and rich in two essential fatty acids, linoleic acid (omega-6) and alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3). Hemp seeds are a great protein source, as more than 25% of their total calories are from high-quality protein.
Now add ingredients into the blender. Start with lemon, 1,5 tablespoons of hemp seeds and 1 tablespoon of sunflower seeds. Slice your pumpkin and add almond milk and cocoa powder. Agave syrup will add sweetness. A spoonful of almond milk froth for texture.
During summertime you can add ice. It will freshen you up immediately!
Your smoothie is ready.
